Vienna Airport and Austrian Airlines offer new services for greater accessibility for passengers: Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program and Aira app for people with visual impairments.
Vienna Airport and Austrian Airlines are equipped with the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program and the Aira app as well as measures to improve accessibility for passengers. Passengers with visual impairments have recently been able to be guided through the airport using the Aira app. As part of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, passengers can use a pin, lanyard or wristband in a sunflower design to draw attention to their need for support at the information desk in the terminal and on the Austrian aircraft. To this end, we are constantly implementing numerous measures to ensure that air travel is easy and relaxed for people with limited mobility or invisible impairments.
